The Costa Blanca is home to some fabulous restaurants and the hardest decision will be to choose which one to visit each night. Here we provide just a few choices with different locations and budget.

Moraira is the closest village to our villa and there is a vast array of restaurants in the village and along the coast road from Moraira to Calpe. Travelling further there are also many restaurants in Calpe, Javea/Arenal, Javea old town, Altea & Benidorm.

In land a trip to the mountains reveals a more authentic Spanish vibe and there many family run restaurants to discover serving fresh dishes and great prices.

By the sea

Sitting within a few meters of the Mediterranean and enjoying a drink or lunch with a fabulous view is a must do activity when here in Spain. Exploring the coast, finding a great spot with an awesome view and fabulous food is part of any holiday adventure. Here are a few places to get you started: Blue Waterfront on the coast road heading in to Moraira has a great breakfast and often music on Sunday lunchtime. Paillote at Cala Advocat has beautifully landscape gardens, the Ocean CLub at La Bassettes and two of our favourites: Mandala at Cala Fustera and Cala Bandida in the Javea Port.

There are a number of options to choose from in Moraira for traditional home cooked Spanish food. A number of these are located close to the marina area. Head to the centre of Moraira and walk along the pedestrian street from the boy with fish statue that runs parallel to the marina. Here you will find a number of Spanish restaurants including El Refugio. For more authentic Spanish head inland for example Restaurante l'Obrer near Guadalest.

Family favourites

Great food without breaking the bank. First on the list has to be El Cafeti located opposite the castle in the centre of Moraira. Great choice from enormous salads and the the best burger in town. If you are pining for a carvery or Sunday Lunch then head along the Moraira to Benitatxell road to find Monroes Carvery. A trip to Benidorm opens up a whole new world of experience!

There are a selection of top quality restaurants in and around Moraira. Our favourites in M0raira include Sitari's, Kosta! and Maxim. Travelling further Masena on the road to Javea from Benitaxell is popular and also in Benidorm old town Amigos. Our favourite amongst these restaurant is The Olive Tree.

Moraira has several Indian restaurants. The Himalaya opposite the main car park, The Katmandhu, on the road in to Moraira and the Royal Buddha near the petrol station. Everyone of course has their favourite Indian restaurant.

There are numerous Italian restaurants in Moraira: Rodolfo (££) located on the row of shops and bars adjacent to the main car park, Il Divo located in the centre of Moraira (£££), Vespas, near the beach in Moraira (££)  and then for more general pizza places head for the town square next to the church El Tigres (£). Our favourite Italian option would be a trip to Javea/Arenal to visit Lungo Mare or La Trattoria
