Maintenance season

As the summer season draws to a close it's time to turn our attention to maintenance inside and out. So a weekend of maintenance jobs follows visits to the wood yard and multiple trips to Pedros (aka our local version of B&Q).

First up integrating the bedroom light switches in to the headboard. I've been thinking of this little job ever since we converted the Moorish door from the local reclamation in to a headboard (Kirsty Allsop would be well chuffed i'm sure).

Then it's on to a spot of painting to cover the water marks from the air conditioning. Five coats later it's as good as new. Then out with the drill and some heavy duty wall-plugs and the radiator is back on the wall. I wonder how that happened!? Anyway, job done and time for a swim!
