When it all began

After our first visit to Moraira in February 2006 somehow we find ourselves sitting in our villa drinking tea with the former owners. I catch Jacqueline's eye across the table and I know exactly what she is thinking; "are they ever going to leave?".

Understandably swapping the sunshine of a home on the Costa Blanca with somewhere in middle Germany is going to make for a long drive but the sooner they go the sooner their past will be our future.

Eventually off they go and it's time to get the container of furniture we've shipped from England unloaded. If only we'd spotted that every other shop in Spain is a furniture shop. Ah well, a holiday home is going to be a big learning exercise.....
