Consistently a favourite for a night out for fine food. Moraira's best restaurant in our opinion and the best place to take friends for a special night out. Nice food in a relaxed atmosphere served by friendly and attentive staff. Won't appeal to the kids. Booking recommended. Typical cost p.p. 30-45€ inc drinks

The finest curry house in the world in Spain? Order up favourites such as Chicken Tikka Masala with Mushroom Rice or Lamb Dansak, Peshwari Naan washed down with a pint or two of Cobra beer. The staff are friendly and the chef really knows his spices. Bring an appetite! Typical cost p.p. 20-30€ inc drinks

Along the sea front at Javea are a number of small restaurants and bars serving a range of fare. What better place is there to sit next to the waves, under the shade of an umbrella, taking lunch and watching the world go by? Don't forget to phone home and tell them it's a beautiful day, it's 20C and it's February!

A worthy alternative to Options or Sitaris is the Olive Tree restaurant. Located next to the Gemisant. The staff are friendly the atmosphere relaxed (yes leave the kids at home). Serving a range of classic dishes A la carte and set menu with wine option. Typical cost p.p. 30-45€ inc drinks

Fresh pasta dishes and amazing selection await at the Pasta House. Be sure to bring an appetite as portions are not only very tasty but also generous. Located on the left of the main road when entering Moraira. Typical cost p.p. 25-35€ inc drinks.

Sunday lunch all day every day. Always a favourite and fantastic value. self service carvery with choice of meats, yorkshire pudding and as much veg as you dare. Alternatives on offer include chicken and mushroom pie, chips, peas and gravy...mmm. Located just out of Moriara on the road toward Teulada/Benitaxell. Typical cost p.p. 10-15€ inc drinks.

A great alternative to Options and the Olive Tree. Sitaris is located off the Moraira-Calpe Road. Take the turning at the side of Pedros Ferreteria and the restaurant is on your left hand side. All three courses are worth the effort, so take an appetite. Typical cost 30-45€ per head.
Others: Alternative straight-forward dining can be found at restaurants such as El Polo Loco on the Moraira-Calpe Road, Tigres Italian in the centre of Moraira and the Gemmissant next to the Olive Tree. An alternative Asian restaurant is the Himalaya on the El Portet road. Seafood at Piscina in the centre of Moraira and fine food at Eleven on the sea front and La Luna in the centre of Moraira. For something special Le Dauphin in El Portet.
