Local Beaches

There are many small beaches along the cost with easy access from our Villas. All beaches are sign posted from the Moraira-Calpe road. Some of the larger, and more popular/crowded beaches are listed here. Beyond Denia to the North around Gandia the sandy beach stretches for several miles. If it's beaches you want, you've come to the right place! The beaches listed here are just a selection and are ordered based on proximty to our villas

Baladrar

Pebble beach situated close to our villas. Small car park easily reached from the Moraira to calpe road. Beach has cafe in the summer months.

The beach is a ten minute walk from our villas (20 minutes back!). Head down to the coast road, turn left then almost immedately right and you're there...


La Fustera

Taking the coast road South towards Calpe, Fustera is sgn posted off to the left and this small, popular sandy beachiis in easy reach of our villas.

The access road from the coast road leads to a car park behind the beach. A couple of bars open year round sit to the rear of the beach. Coastal path gives short walk with excellent views across to Moraira and Penion de Ifach.


Ampolla (Moraira)

Heading in to Moraira, Ampolla is a wide sandy beach with lifeguard. Very popular beach adjacent to the centre of Moraira. Car parking (metered) is available next to the beach.

Beach bar during main season. Easy access to the beach and all the restaurants and bars of Moraira close at hand for lunch.


El Portet

Shallow, sheltered, sandy beach perfect for families. El Portet is 1.5km North of Moraira. From the centre of Moraira the El Portet road runs behind the shops and above the Marina. Stop along the way for a fabulous view of the Marina and view to the Penon de Ifach. Plenty of parking behind the beach and several cafés sit adjacent to the beach.


Arenal (Javea)

A twenty minute drive North through Moraira and Benitaxell, take the right turn towards Cap de la Nau and come to a small resort adjacent toJavea.

Arenal has lots of bars, cafes and boutique shops sitting behind a large wide flat sandy beach.

Beyond the main hotel that sits on the North side of the beach the coast road has numerous beach bars before the road enters the port of Javea.


Altea

The drive South to Altea via Calpe, picks up the N-332 and takes around 25 minutes. Altea itself is a nice half day out, strolling along the beach and visting the blue tile roofed church with fantastic views

The beach here is quite long and the promenade is a favourite for a Sunday stroll with the locals. Part pebble, part sandy beach with some parking adjacent to the beach


Villajoyosa

Heading South (down the N332 or the Autopista A-70.... Another wide sandy beach!.

A great spot for soaking up some sun. The old town of Villajoyosa gives a picture postcard backdrop with its quaint painted terraced houses. Restaurants border the sea front and a large underground car park provides easy access.


Benidorm

Two beaches: Levante to the North and Poniente to the South. Both are wide sandy beaches easily accessible. Levante is the newer half of town whilst Poniente is somewhat older. Don't expect seclusion!
